Ece grew up in Istanbul, a city that blends European and Asian cultures, where modern and traditional influences come together.
Growing ip surrounded by the arts, coming from a family of dancers, she was raised in a lively, creative community where expressing herself artistically felt natural. She started drama classes at six, which led her to acting in a well-known Turkish film as a young child, an experience that sparked her passion for storytelling and set her path to becoming a director.
After studying Cinema in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, she earned a Master’s Degree in Directing from University of California, Los Angeles. Her passion lives in short dance films, blending feeling and storytelling through movement. With a deep devotion to all forms of art; film and dance remain at the heart of her expression.
